Marilyn J. Muller
Marilyn Muller's recent paintings, while drawn from her love of the natural world, can be described as both nonrepresentational and representational abstracts. These newer pieces explore texture and show a richer color palette. The square remains her favorite support shape on both panels and canvas.
In the past, gallery pieces were mainly conceptual yet representational landscapes and seascapes using strong cool color and movement. In addition, there have been numerous plein air, portraiture and figurative works.
Muller is presently working in the New York area as a freelance scenic artist. Samples are available upon request.
